Well it's official... NAIT Main Campus will be receiving a new student in the next few years as the City has approved the expansion of the LRT right to campus.
What does this mean for local area residents? For home and condo owners you can expect an increase in property value according to the City of Edmonton. Westwood has always been an affordable and attractive place to call home for many students from NAIT, Grant McEwan and Vanguard College due to it's close proximity to campus and the down town core. Once the LRT expansion is complete you can add University of Alberta students to the roster with a simple 18 minute commute to the Health Sciences Station.
Easy access to the Southside, Northside, Downtown and West End makes the LRT a blessing to any local resident. Commuting will be a breeze!
